The primary responsibility of this position is to handle all aspects of the consumer and commercial loan closing process.  The Loan Closing Coordinator (LCC) interacts with clients on a daily and consistent basis in projecting a first class response culture for companies valued clients.  The Loan Closing Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to manage and facilitate the loan closings for the team.  LCC’s shall be functioning in a team environment with the CDO’s, CDC’s  and CDA’s.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Compiles Commercial and Consumer Loan Packages, as requested.
  • Works with CDC and closing attorney (if applicable) on loan closings to coordinate the following :  schedule closings, follow up on all pre-closing docs as needed (i.e. flood certificates, updated Insurance coverage, legal opinions, settlement statements, title commitments, UCC searches, etc.).
  • Delivers Loan Closing Packages/Documents to attorney’s offices as needed.
  • Meets with clients in CDO’s absence to close loan/sign docs, etc.
  • Prepares commercial and consumer loan modifications as needed.
  • Funds loan closings, gives to LOS to book loans and organize the file to be sent to Loan Review.
  • Tracks for incoming post closing loan documentation.
  • Contacts Participating Bank for closing funds (if applicable).
  • Clears documentation exceptions relating to closed loans.
  • Review loans “post booking” to insure that loans are set up correctly.
  • Attends training courses/meetings as needed to keep up-to-date on all related consumer compliance changes, ARTA product changes, etc.
  • Other duties/special projects as assigned. 

Requirements:

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Detail Oriented.
  • Strong Organizational Skills.
  • Able to work well with others – Team Player.
  • Ability to Multi-Task.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure.
  • Background/experience in loan closings, loan documentation or banking preferred.
