Employee Spotlight: Bryan

Bryan Harris Meet the Team

This week we are highlighting one of our team members, Bryan Harris. Bryan is a Senior Account Manager for Greene’s Managed Services team, and he has been with the company for almost 15 years! We asked Bryan about his role at Greene, his favorite things about his job and the biggest piece of advice he could give to hiring managers looking to grow their team.

What do you do as a Greene Account Manager?

As an account manager I partner with companies to help create a specific recruiting delivery catered to their hiring needs.

In your opinion, why should employers use a recruiting firm?

At Greene Resources, we utilize our industry expertise and market analysis to provide what it takes to make a lasting hire. Once we’ve worked with your team to find that perfect candidate, we continue to work with you and the employee to ensure expectations are met throughout their employment.

What trends are you noticing in the market right now?

The current hiring market is more competitive than we have ever seen, and potential job seekers have options for their next career move.  Many of the most desired employees are also being contacted by other companies. Keeping potential employees engaged throughout the interview process is more important than ever.

What are some things employers can be doing to make sure they’re attracting top talent?

Differentiating what makes your company unique and a great place to work is incredibly important when peaking candidates’ interest in your openings.  Compensation always matters, but most job seekers are looking for more than just a paycheck and want to feel like they are part of a team that they believe in.

What is the greatest piece of advice you’d give to a hiring manager looking to grow their team?

An accepted offer is only the beginning of the hiring process and retaining employees is what matters most when growing a team.

By investing in employees during the interview and onboarding process, as well as throughout the employee’s tenure will help build momentum throughout departmental expansions and avoid the dreaded backfill.
