Greene Resources has partnered with NC TECH to deliver the monthly Technology Job Trends Report. This report provides a snapshot of the environment for tech employment in North Carolina. Technology job postings are broken down into various top ten lists for the month, including skills, job type, employers, and more. A rolling 12-month chart reflects the trend in job openings over the previous year.
“August openings were higher than July, reversing a trend over the previous few months of lower openings,” said Brooks Raiford, President & CEO of NC TECH. North Carolina continues to outpace national growth rates in technology openings. Charlotte leads the state but Greensboro and Burlington are also showing strong growth.
As the need for tech talent grows, candidate experience become critical in filling these openings. One way companies can stand out in this regard is their interview process. A defined and structured process is not only more engaging and productive for candidates, but can also make hiring managers more efficient in finding the best fit for the role.
