What do cornbread, barbecue sauce, giant ears, and an old print ad for Minolta cameras have in common? Listen to this webinar by Gary Greene, our president and CEO, to find out!
In this webinar, sponsored by NC State Alumni, Gary discusses how to become “unforgettable” to prospective and current employers, clients, customers, and even strangers in your everyday life. By customizing your interactions with others, focusing on the specific, personal needs of the person with whom you are interacting, and by simply being there, you can create a memorably wonderful experience that will stand out to those you are trying to serve.
Gary references the children’s book The Three Questions by Jon Muth, based on a story by Leo Tolstoy. In it, the protagonist is searching to find answers to three questions that he believes will make him the best person he can be. These questions are: What is the best time to do things? Who is the most important one? What is the right thing to do?
At the end of the story (spoilers!), the protagonist learns through his adventures that, “There is only one important time, and that time is now. The most important one is always the one you are with. And the most important thing is to do good for the one who is standing at your side.”
By remembering to be engaged, present, attentive, and personal with those around you, you will not only succeed in building your business, client base, or personal network, but also in creating a wonderfully memorable, unforgettable experience that will last for years to come.
