Position: Soldering Specialist

Location: Morrisville, NC

Pay: $26.00-$28.00/hour (can go higher for the right candidate)

Experience: 5+ years of soldering experience required

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Two shift options available -

  1.  1st Shift (1 opening): 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  2.  2nd Shift (1 opening): 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

 

Greene Resources is seeking a Soldering Specialist to join a growing and dynamic team!

 

Job Description:

  1. Perform soldering operations on thermoelectric components and assemblies
  2. Solder, measure, test, repair, and assemble thermoelectric modules
  3. Inspect soldered connections for quality and reliability, making adjustments and rework as needed
  4. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and wire diagrams
  5. Maintain accurate, up-to-date computer databases (SPC, calibration, etc.)
  6. Measure incoming materials and enter data into a database
  7. Help technicians and operators complete product builds and repairs
  8. Perform basic electrical testing of thermoelectric devices
  9. Maintain soldering tools and equipment in clean, good working condition
  10. Attend training and certification classes for soldering

 

Position Requirements:

  1. Hard skills: Strong knowledge of soldering techniques and equipment; ability to solder small components and wires; ability to use a microscope while soldering; ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wire diagrams; Microsoft Office experience a plus
  2. Soft skills: Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity; good verbal communication skills; organized and detail-oriented; maintains a professional attitude and appearance; follows all safety guidelines and PPE requirements
